The holidays are around the corner, and if you have an aspiring chef at home (or you just love to cook like we do) here are a few ideas for things that are probably on their wish list too!
Such a fun addition to the kitchen. Who doesn’t want a wood smoke infuser? This cool tool will add a smokey flavor to your food and drinks quickly and easily. Although it comes with a few samples, there are more available here.
Let’s be honest, we all want a sous vide cooker. With the sous vide method, you vacuum seal your food, immerse it in a a water bath a a set temperature for an assigned amount of time and it cooks thoroughly and evenly. Most people also sear their meat after sous vide cooking. To give it color and a crust. You can attach the cooker to a large pot, or you can invest in a sous vide food container. You can use zipper bags with your sous vide, but using a vaccum sealer is much easier.
Yum, sushi… Here’s something new to us, the Sushi Bazooka. There are several great places to shop for sushi grade fish in Lethbridge, Nakagama R Co downtown has great fish and exceptional service too.
Like Lego? Like to play with your food? How about A silicone mold so you can do both! These seem to be oven safe. I’m not a baker, not would I want teeny tin block man cakes, but I suppose someone might.
We really like the idea of the instant pot. Rice cooker, slow cooker and pressure cooker all-in-one. We’d be happy if Santa left this under our tree.
